Woman has bad hair day with rice crop on head

A farming woman in Yueqing of Zhejiang Province was cut on the head by a rice binder.

The careless doctor who stitched her up failed to carefully clear the wound and left a seedling behind.

Now it has sprouted, the Oriental Morning Post reports.

Zheng Renrui has filed a lawsuit against the hospital, asking for 90,000 yuan (US$10,883) in compensation. The hospital has only agreed to give 2,000 yuan (US$242).

No word on when the rice crop will be harvested.
