Fishing

I read a post on fishing - trawling, and angling
and he mentioned that "[he is] an angler."

Maybe he was really talking abt fishing.....
Maybe he wasnt ;)

But I couldnt help but relate some bits to how males fish for females.
I quote because I agree.. and because i share the same ideas, some of my comments I add within the blockquote in [bold].

"i realized that most of them are trawlers. tats to say when they go fishing in the sea, they're not really particular about wat they catch... they just cast a net behind them, and then pick out all the squids or tiny fishes which they don't want."

How disgustingly dispicable...
"each one almost seems interchangable, and tat it doesn't matter."

If i were a salmon, I'd rather not bite the bait if i knew I wld just be an equal to a luohan. then again, a fish wouldnt want to be caught and scaled and devoured... :/

Its the pertinent question: why men and women think differently. why some men can place themselves in women's perspectives; and vice versa?
"...fish with a single line ... fishes swimming in the clear blue water. some prettier than others [i'm not so sure in my case]. some bigger than others [they ought to be]. but there'll always be only one tat i wanna hook up. [now thats not my case, so far] and tats why i use a line, and not a net. but then, its an issue when it doesn't bite, or when it bites but the line breaks. its frustrating. u really wonder if u should just cast a net instead."

I definitely am one who'd prefer the SINGLE LINE. - not that i wld like being single all my life.. nonononoonoooooo.
then again, my personal line has been failing me. maybe I shd change the bait?
and then the wise man says:
"姜太公钓鱼,愿者上钩。。。its interesting, this old chinese saying. he uses a silver needle with no bait. and only the fish tat would voluntarily be caught, would bite the needle."

or a "fish" dumb enough to bite on a NEEDLE that wld *poke*poke* and cause pain to it.

"sometimes, u just can't wait forever..."

"which is also true. i'd [hope] never wait forever. but some things, i always believed, are worth waiting for.

but how do u know which things just need time, and which are just simply impossible? tats always my dilemma. its even more true then, tat in this case, waiting is not an option, and tat a limit should be set. what determines this limit...[?] "
