We're on ST "Life!" today - Pic only la

Hey hey,

Some of you saw the pic before us - SF and I are featured in today's Life! segment of Straits Times as a PICTURE ONLY.

I ended teaching class at 10 and we decided to head to union on a whim. So if not for that whim, on wed night, I wouldn't be in the papers!

The article was planned quite sometime back, and my sis had actually gone down for an interview with the same reporter - dawn - a week ago with gary (en-motion). They were just there on wed night to get the interview on the couple who met on the dance floor and got hitched. And they asked to take our photos :p

So there you have it, the story on why I'm on the paper for the article promoting the SISF (Singapore International Salsa Festival) when I'm not quite planning to go - ONLY BECAUSE I'D be Damn Tired Out.. with all the other weddings and bday bashes that I have decided, is more important to me.

If! I can make it on sat night, after the Wedding (Luther & Adeline sitting on a tree.. I'm the maid of honour, so you see?), and the Bday Bash (Uncle Richard's 60th Bday, and I'm also doing a performance/ teaching segment at the party), I WILL GO FOR Performances from Johnny Polanco Y Su Conjunto Amistad Band - Assuming they're playing when I reach there after 1130 or so

*sigh

back to packing - overnight at the ritz with the bride! - HEY! THE BATHTUB MAKES UP FOR IT! (for the uninitiated, I don't have a bath tub at home, so allow me to revel in the fantasies of the bathtub, okay?!)

Come next week - Dansfest? SWING on friday, Marathon on Saturday.
